Biography
My name is Ana Lovely and I am a Spanish teacher in Columbus, Ohio. I have taught multiple age groups throughout my career. I taught Spanish at The Ohio State University for six years. During this time I instructed Spanish to different levels, from Spanish 1101-1103. At the same time, I also worked as a lecturer at Columbus State Community College and at Otterbein College for one year.
In 2013, I left the university and started working at St. Michael School in Worthington, Ohio. I taught grades K-8th for seven years. While there, I created a Spanish program with one goal in mind and that was for 8th students to have the possibility of placing into Spanish 2 in high school. Besides teaching Spanish language classes, I also taught a Culture class where we explored the Hispanic culture more in-depth (music, food, dance, history, traditions, etc).
